Driftwood – was inspired by the driftwood speckled beaches of Esquimalt Lagoon, a long sandy beach near my home where silvery, sun-bleached logs, cedar bark planks and ornate disintegrated skeletons of dry, weathered wood, now whittled away to hollow shadows of their former selves. Driftwood captures the live and essence of the sea, juxtaposed with the ashen neautrality of the resident landscape. This colourway features greys, brown, ashen silver and shades of blues for a subtle, flowing and non-pooling colourpath.
Sock-a-Rino is a superwash merino and nylon blended sock yarn, soft and lofty but with good twist and to make it strong and sturdy for sock, mittens and garments that will be well worn and subject to wear and tear. The fibres have great loft and the shiny sheen of the merino and nylon bring depth and shine to the colours.
